Salt Lake City School District’s Community Learning Centers (CLCs) operate under an expanded community school model. The primary focus is to provide a holistic educational experience for students in our district. This includes extended learning opportunities, family engagement programs, and access to wraparound supports such as healthcare, mental health services, food, clothing, technology, and other essential resources. These supports help students be able to attend school and stay focused on learning.

In addition, our CLCs offer community education opportunities including job training, digital literacy workshops, health and wellness programs, and community enrichment activities. These programs focus on providing skills to build capacity and improve overall well-being.

We could not do this work without the support of parents, community volunteers, local businesses, and partner organizations. Their dedication helps make programs and resources available for the community, and we are incredibly grateful for the commitment to our schools and communities!
